March 6, 2019: Gifted Network

New to gifted education? Veteran?  Or somewhere in between? This informative and collaborative session will have something for everyone.

Are you looking for a safe space to share things that  aren’t working in your classroom, a collaborative partnership to help you create instructional plans, and implementation support to make sure your students are challenged appropriately?  If so, I invite you to join the Gifted Network, designed to provide a bridge between relevant instructional research and a forum for discussing current issues in gifted education. District, Charter and Non-Public School educators in IU12 Region who work with students identified as gifted in an capacity are welcome.  Focus areas will include a mix of topics including, but not limited to: regulations, current research in the field, strategies for enriching and accelerating the curriculum, social-emotional needs of students identified as gifted, and always a time for sharing great ideas.
