Special Classroom Visitors

The students from Mr. Baker's LIU Life Skills Support classroom at Wrightsville Elementary School received a visit from Chief Pollock of Hellam Township Police Department, Lt. David Godfrey of the York County Sheriff's Office, and Dargo (K-9 Officer with the Sheriff's Office). The officers were invited by Dave Marascio (School Psychologist) to provide additional information as a follow up to a recent social skills lesson about "stranger danger" and how to respond to emergency situations. Students asked many questions, had an opportunity to interact with the police dog, and received several items given to them by the officers. The students (and staff) had a wonderful time! Special thanks to both agencies for their time and support to our students.
