Sharpen Your Google Skills:

June 6th: 9AM to 3PM York Learning Center  

Take your skills to the next level. Learn more about working in Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Draw. Dive deeper into Sharing, integrate Sheets into a Slides presentation, use the power of Draw in Docs and Slides.

 

Working with Data for Educators:

June 17th: 9AM to 3PM LIU New Oxford

Learn how to create a spreadsheet and use the built in tools to manage your office or classroom data. Learn functions that will save you time, make record keeping easier, and provide data analysis. Create charts and learn how to use formatting to visualize your data.

 

Creating Materials for the Classroom and Office:

June 25th: 9AM to 3PM New Oxford

Learn how to create materials for your classroom or office using everyday/free tools. This includes posters, social media, and video. School will be back in session before you know it and this session provides time, opportunity, and inspiration for you to create for your classroom. Bring your ideas and see what you can do!

 

JULY

Digital Citizenship:
July 11th: 9AM to 12PM  New Oxford
Security, privacy, your digital footprint, and copyright are covered in this session. Learn  what you need to make smart decisions in and out of the classroom

 

Google Suite for Beginners:

July 23rd: 9AM to 3PM New Oxford  

This session is geared to folks just getting started with the Google Suite of Apps. Learn the basics of google Drive, Docs, and Forms.

Video in the Classroom:

July 31 9AM to 3PM New Oxford

In this session we explore the great variety of video collections available in the classroom, we curate materials, then we create some videos ourselves. See how quick and easy it is to create video for and with your students. Join in for a day of discovering the possibilities.
