The Adult Education Programs of Lincoln Intermediate Unit operates adult basic education and English as a second language classes as well as one-on-one literacy tutoring, job skills training.

Each of these programs are held at various locations throughout the three-county area of Adams, Franklin and York.

On June 8th, 2022, Eric Evans was pronounced the winner of the United Way of Adams County Volunteer of the Year Award. Eric has been working as one of our valued ABE/GED teachers as well as a tutor for the Adams County Literacy Council. To be awarded, Eric had to be nominated and then chosen from a list of volunteers. Alison Shuman, the Program Coordinator for Adams's County Literacy Council, and Eric's Mother and Father were present to watch Eric accept his award.
