Student Services
The Lincoln Intermediate Unit (LIU) provides Classroom, Itinerant, and Consultative Supports and Services in collaboration with our school districts and charter schools through a referral process. Additionally, LIU provides support to families, students and our non-public partners. The LIU provides programming in a variety of educational settings, including classrooms located within district buildings, community locations, the Franklin Learning Center, Paradise School, and York Learning Center. For more detailed information regarding these programs please click on the links to the left of this page.
Families that are interested in LIU supports and services for their school - aged child(ren) should contact their home school district for more information.

Chapter 14 Information
Chapter 14 regulations are Pennsylvania’s state special education regulations that establish procedures for the identification of students with disabilities and in need of special education services and programs within the Commonwealth. This set of regulations also describes the requirements and procedures for the delivery of special education services and programs for students with disabilities across the public school entities within the state. Chapter 14 does not apply to public charter schools or cyber charter schools. Chapter 711 regulations apply to students with disabilities in public charter schools or cyber charter schools.
