Emotional Support
Emotional support programming is provided at all grade levels in public school settings. Individualized or small group academic instruction is provided to students based on their unique needs. Positive behavior support techniques are developed through the functional behavioral assessment process. Students have the opportunity to interact with their same age peers in the regular education environment with support from the emotional support team. A licensed social worker is also available to meet with the team and families to support each student’s needs in the school or home settings.
