Mrs. Mariela Marcano-Muniz

Mrs. Marcano-Muniz graduated from Eastern University with a B.S., in Early Childhood Education, and she has been working with young students for 16 years. For the last eight years of her career, she worked for Head Start of York County, and the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts Program through the School District of the City of York.

Mrs. Marcano-Muniz is currently pursuing an MEd in TESOL at Eastern University. Her Pennsylvania teaching certifications are Program Specialist English as a Second Language PK-12, and Pre-Kindergarten–4. She is originally from Puerto Rico and has been living in York, PA with her husband and two sons since the year 2006. Mrs. Marcano-Muniz is delighted to be a part of the Language Instruction Educational Program here at LIU-12.
