Equitable Participation
The Equitable Participation (EP) Program Supports students within Adams, Franklin, and York Counties, who are parentally placed in Private/Non-Public Schools and have been identified as requiring special education services. The Individuals with Disabilities Educational Act (IDEA), which is a Federal Statute, funds EP through Title IIB.
EP supports non-public school partners in addressing the needs of their learners who are presently (or potentially may be) identified as requiring special education services. Our EP Staff assists each school to ensure the students have access to the appropriate support and that teachers have the knowledge to meet all students with evidence-based instructional strategies.
