Rebecca Streletz

Curriculum and Leadership Staff Developer as of April 2024

Rebecca has worked in the Chambersburg Area, South Middleton, and Carlisle Area school districts. Over the years, she has taught 6th and 7th grade English, ELA intervention, and early American history. She entered education because of my desire to support striving readers at the secondary level and to guide students as they develop their skills and identities as readers, writers, and future leaders. Rebecca is passionate about working with educators as they balance their care for students and classroom expertise with new learnings in the pursuit of improved outcomes for all learners.

She live in Cumberland County with my husband and our cat. In her free time, she enjoy reading, traveling to national parks and theme parks, and cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams.

Qualifications: B.A.- Communication-Journalism (Shippensburg University) Grades 4-8 certification (Wilson College) English 7-12 certification, M.Ed.- Reading Specialist (Slippery Rock University)
