Rebecca Gibboney

Director of Educational Services

Rebecca Gibboney joined the LIU as Director of Educational Services in March 2025. Prior to LIU12, she served the BLaST IU17 region as a Curriculum and Online Learning Specialist, Coordinator of Professional Learning, and, for the past three years, the Director of Educational Planning. Before working at an Intermediate Unit, Mrs. Gibboney was a Spanish teacher and Instructional Coach. She is currently on her doctoral journey through Gonzaga University, where she will earn her PhD in Leadership Studies. 

Mrs. Gibboney is a solution-focused visionary who is passionate about systems, innovation, and collaboration. She is looking forward to working with LIU12 staff, member districts and community stakeholders to provide services that help the educational community reach its fullest potential.
