Welcome to the webpage for LIU12 Adams County Literacy Council. We provide a wide range of educational opportunities for adults including:

Our Mission Statement:
We empower adults to take charge of their lives in order to attain goals, participate fully in society, and achieve to their fullest potential by improving literacy and life skills.

The LIU12 Adam's County Literacy Council is partially funded through grants from the PA Department of Education; but, without the generous donations from our community we could only provide a fraction of the services we offer.
Adult Education for Basic Reading, Math, English Language and Beyond.
The LIU12 Adam's County Literacy Council needs volunteers from all walks of life and all stages of life. You do not need to be a teacher or have special qualifications. We provide training.
