LIU Future Educators Scholarship Fund
We are pleased to announce the 2026 LIU Future Educators Scholarship Winners:
- ShaTayla Bailey, York Academy Regional Charter School
- Gwen Furnish, Greencastle Antrim High School
- Rebecca Williams, Littlestown Area Senior High School
Scholarships will be presented to the winners prior to the Golf Tournament on June 16, 2026 at the Bridges Golf Club.
About the LIU Future Educators Scholarship:
The LIU provides scholarships annually (in the amount of $1,000 each) to local graduating seniors from Adams, Franklin and York counties who plan to pursue a career in education and/or work with individuals with special needs.
Scholarship Applications
The LIU Future Educators Scholarship Committee awards multiple $1,000 scholarships to qualified graduates each year at the LIU Annual Golf Tournament (held in June).
Applications are now open and will be accepted through March 20, 2026. Winners will be notified via email by April 1, 2026 and invited to accept their awards and be honored at the June 2026 LIU Annual Golf Tournament.

Qualifications to apply for Future Educators Scholarship:
- Graduating senior from a high school in the Lincoln Intermediate Unit region (located in Adams, Franklin, or York Counties)
- Accepted into a post-secondary program that will certify you to work in the field of education and, to some degree, support students with special needs (may include positions such as teacher, guidance counselor, school psychologist, art or music therapy, occupational therapist, physical therapist, speech and language pathologist, etc.)
