Behavior Intervention
-
Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, Behavior Intervention Division designs and implements individually designed programs for K-12th grade public school students. Consultation services for districts operating or planning alternative programs are also available. Behavioral Intervention programs offer a continuum of services including private facility, multi-district placement, cyber instruction, in-district programs, residential facilities, as well as programming for correctional facilities.
Programs serve students who are unable to attend or be successful in a traditional setting. Current programs serve students exhibiting behaviors that are dangerous or disruptive to the school setting. In addition, students with mental health needs, students residing in shelters, as well as students who are incarcerated are served through the variety of Behavioral Intervention programs.
