Student Programs

  • Student Forum -

Middle and high school students work with peers from other schools across the tri-county region to identify school-related topics of current interest - discussing issues with advisors at each session. Four sessions held from January - May include elements designed to facilitate the development of students' leadership skills and to guide them in the selection and meaningful study of current educational issues.  Student Forum is open to students in grades 6-8 and grades 9-12.

    Quiz Bowl -

LIU12 is proud to host the Regional Pennsylvania Academic Competition each Spring for high school students in York, Adams and Franklin counties. The winner of the local competition is invited to participate in the annual statewide competition, hosted by the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for academic teams to compete against other schools within IU 12 to showcase their knowledge and vie for the travelling trophy and the trip to Harrisburg.
