The Language Instructional Educational Program (LIEP) supports students for whom English is not their first language/home language as well as LEA‘s providing ELD services. ESL teachers provide daily instruction to English Learners in a variety of educational settings. The LIEP also supports LEAs within the LIU 12 region as well as the Title III Consortium to provide ESSA-aligned Language Instruction Education Programs and best practices for English Learners.
